Mad Cave Studio’s 2023 Talent Search

The moment you’ve been waiting for has arrived! This year marks Mad Cave’s 6th anniversary of our anticipated annual talent search. With submissions open to creators all across the world, we are always blown away by the breadth of talent submitting their work. By running this talent search, our goal is to give aspiring creators the opportunity that many people can only dream of: having their work published!

This year Mad Cave is searching for one writer, one illustrator, one colorist, and one letterer to work on an upcoming project. This search is specifically for underrepresented talent with a unique voice that has never worked with or been distributed by a major publisher.

The contest begins on May 1st, 2023, and runs through July 28th, 2023. Each entry will be considered by members of our editorial team at Mad Cave Studios. The four winners (one writer, one artist, one colorist, and one letterer) will be announced in August!
